To this day we can still find historic plantings of azaleas in large clusters in the park. Unfortunately, there are no original rhododendrons, which were destroyed and stolen from the park after the war. There were a whole host of them, dozens of varieties.

We are restoring the gardens so that they once again please the eye of visitors.
