The fountains used a lot of energy, which is why, for example, in the inter-war period, the fountain located at the lowest and throwing water out the highest – the one to which all the other fountains, located on different terraces and at different heights, were equal in strength (it must have been an amazing sight!) was activated only twice a week – on Thursdays and Sundays, and only for 15 minutes – from 3.30 pm to 3.45 pm.
