Last Sunday, a seminar entitled “The palace of Marianne of Orange in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki – the pinnacle of the architect Carl Schinkel’s genius” was held.
The arriving guests were welcomed and the seminar was opened by Mayor Marcin Czerniec.
The first speaker, Mr Slawomir Radzik, introduced the attendees to the history of the palace of the Dutch princess Marianne of Orange in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki. From its creation to the present day.
Professor Joanna Kucharzewska and Professor Piotr Birecki characterised the architectural work of Karl Friedrich Schinkel. Finally, Mr Andrzej Domański discussed Sources of funding for culture and the protection of monuments in the new perspective.
