On 29 September 2023, a chess meeting was held at the Marianne of Orange’s Palace Stables in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki. It was led by Tomasz Piwiński, a teacher and chess enthusiast.
Mr Tomasz gave us a fascinating history of chess and introduced us to the rules of the game, presenting popular gambits and tactics.
The most exciting moment was the opportunity to play a game with other participants of the meeting. Everyone was able to find an opponent with a similar level of skill, allowing them to develop their skills and gain valuable tips from Mr Thomas.
