After a hiatus of 77 years, Nike has returned to its former location, where it stands proudly next to the Palace of Marianne of Orange and the towering 14-meter-high Victory Column. It’s a beautiful combination of history and architecture that can now be seen in its full glory from the palace halls and the adjacent park area.
History and monumentality are intertwined in the form of the Victory Column, which rises toward the sky next to the Palace of Marianne of Orange. From its base to the statue of the goddess Nike herself, it measures an impressive 14 meters and is the focal point not only of the palace landscape, but also of a thread of history that dates back more than 150 years.
The project “New quality of sightseeing in the romantic palace and park complex in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki” is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway within the framework of the EEA and Norway Grants.
