The high rank of the palace and garden complex in Kamenz Ząbkowicki is due to its gigantic scale. Moreover, it was a representative residence belonging to the most distinguished royal and princely families of Europe, the Oranje-Nassau and Hohenzollern dynasties. It stood out architecturally, both against the previous output of Schinkel (the designer) and against the contemporary European architecture. Innovative in the case of Kamenz is the reference to the forms of native Pomeranian Gothic architecture and the transfer of these forms to Silesia.
“New quality of sightseeing in the romantic palace and park complex in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki” The project is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants.
